How to

Sorry…

So you may have noticed that as far as AngryFilmsProductions.com goes that you don’t exist anymore. I know, it sucks. But this is a side-effect of moving to a new web host. I know there’s a way to carry over all the goodies from the last but my brain isn’t equipped with the ability to figure this out. I apologize and for all your troubles please accept a HA BISKY!!!

How to… have my comment show up.

So you finally built up the courage to leave a comment on a post, AWESOME! There’s just one problem though. You left the comment, but when you look back the comment isn’t there. “What did I do wrong?”, you ask. Nothing. The website for Angry Films Productions holds new comments in a pending folder to be approved by the moderators (Jory, Zachary, Ryan, or Josh). Once you have one comment approved your comments will no longer be held, you can leave as many as you’d like and they’ll be posted immediately. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused, but for the sake of spam prevention this policy will stay in effect.

How to… add an avatar

So as this site exists and I (Jory) come across problems and solutions I’ll leave a nice little how to… kind like this one…

So you’re new here, welcome! You just got settled in, made a few comments, and see that you have no avatar (photo of yourself that cool kids like Jory has).

Naturally you get jealous but can’t figure out how to get one… well… lemme help you out.

angryfilmsproductions.com does in fact support avatars, but in an effort to be futuristic and tech savvy looking we’ve embraced an avatar plugin called gravatar. With this plugin your avatar is handled through an outside website called gravatar.com. What this means is that any website that allows gravatar will use the same photo (the one you upload). So you’re wondering how to take part and where to begin?

  1. Go here.
  2. Enter your e-mail address (the one you used to sign up here).
  3. It’ll send a confirmation e-mail, just click the link.
  4. Make a username and password.
  5. Upload a photo that you want to use as an avatar (make sure it still looks good at a small size i.e. text is not the best option)
  6. Rate it.
  7. Make sure it is selected… and Whazzam you’re done
